Delighted that joining us in the Harbour Bazaar this month we had Zoe Howe, broadcaster and author discussing her latest book Barbed Wire Kisses : The Jesus & Mary Chain Story and choosing favourite tracks, influences and inspirations of the landmark belle et sale sound of Psychocandy from Jesus & Mary Chain and Dylan Howe, jazz musician and creator of the supple jazz reinvention of Heroes/Low austere cold-war melancholia on his new album Subterranean : New Designs On Bowie’s Berlin (as well as drummer with The Blockheads and Wilko Johnson)
No Mr Box this month so Mark Lancaster from SFOB’s Box Of Delights show stepped in to keep an eye on matters plus chose a typically funky for our Cover Uncovered feature as well as, inspired by Bowie’s 70’s Berlin, tracks that can’t be separated from their city!
Plus Guest Choices From Choice Guests, a slice of The Idiot, new track from the Pop Group plus along the way learn about being in the pocket, have some unintentionally saucy shenanigans about dips and Frank Sinatra's enormous head...have fun!
