Episode 97: Dog Day Evening
The one and only Spectacular in August is crammed full with seasonal treats - the best music, the most esoteric references and the frothy bonhomie that makes The Daryl Easlea Spectacular what it is. Talk Talk in the Progflume; The Fall in the Long One; Kiki Dee in Tick Tock Soul O'Clock. Some brand new Chemicals, The Weekend, Rudimental, and birthday sounds and salutes to Joe Jackson, Jah Wobble and Eric Carmen. We also will be looking at Ronald Reagan's pop record appearances. I will also have the pleasure of speaking on the telephone with artist Andy Freeman about the ongoing Wrecked In The Intertidal Zone project in the Leigh On Sea area.
